Changing picture of the mule

I really think we should make a paragraph or two about how the Mule disguised himself as his own clown and travelled with Toran and Bayta Darell. This is included on the article Foundation and Empire, so it should just be a matter of reading what information there is there and retyping it on this article. Scrawny?

At 120 pounds and 5' 8", the Mule would have a Body Mass Index of 18.2. The latest recommendations are that we should all have a BMI at the lowest end of the normal scale, which would be 18.5. Deletion of images

In fact the images do match Asimov's description of the character as noted in the Origins section. The other is a metaphor. Both images have their rationale for fair use in this article clearly stated and have been accepted as such for 7 years. Their arbitrary deletion vastly reduced the quality of the article and needs a better justification than the arbitrary and false ones given. Lycurgus (talk) 08:14, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

I don't see any way for those images to stay. I touched this off by asking a question on the medic copyrights board, about the appropriate tag to use when adding the original character portrait, from the first publication in Astounding, to the article.[1] The discussion there ran against using the image at all, and the same arguments apply to the cover images, more strongly. If an illo of this sort can be justified, the covers are a fairly bad choice -- they're fairly generic Punchatz faces, that he used minor variations on for a batch of covers in the mid-60s, from some A.Merritt exhumations to more recent stuff, including Asimov, in Avon's sf line to the paperbacks of Dangerous Visions.
