Talk:Much Apu About Something

"Don't make the same mistake I did." edit

Remember the mysterious cat in the magazine cover? Apu has infinite lives, including nine cat lives. Perhaps the cat was him warning himself about standing by the window. Perhaps Apu died in the first tanking, when he was regretfully reading the Playdude, which used to also be a "cat fancier" magazine of sorts. Revisiting forgotten relatives (Kiku the fox brother) is pretty common for dead people. In any case, the magazine stand is no longer by the window when the Kwik-E-Mart is destroyed and reborn. For every Big Bang, there is a Big Crunch. The talking Lincoln penny was from 1991, which reads the same forward as it does backward. Something's up here.

Maybe there's a simple answer out there? InedibleHulk (talk) 04:22, 20 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Apu's last hurrah edit

To date, this is probably the most recent episode that I remember to focus on Apu, and, ironically, it discusses the same issues that The Problem with Apu would discuss about a year later. Should we just go ahead and say this is the last time Hank Azaria voiced the character? - Jasonbres (talk) 21:51, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

P.S. I wonder if it was intentional that Azaria announced he was no longer voicing the character exactly four years after this episode aired. - Jasonbres (talk) 22:04, 17 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
