I've put together a list of the published stories of Mr. A. I hope I'm correct. I don't know if any additional ones appeared after Mr. A. #2 book, other then the one in the Package. --Emb021 20:39, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Rorschach

In addition, when creating the miniseries Watchmen, Moore modeled the character Rorschach on Mr. A (as well as on The Question, another comic book character created by Ditko).

This is untrue so far as I know. In Absolute Watchemn, in the outline for Rorschach, it does not even mention Mr. A. Moore's outline says that "Rorschach is the replacement for The Question." I'll need some kind of review or another Moore statement that says he based Rorschch in part on Mr. A. hbdragon88 (talk) 03:12, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Hoosiers' Goodbye Mr. A

I took out a reference to the Hoosiers song Goodbye Mr. A. The song was about a secondary school teacher and is in no way related to Ditko's comic character. The confusion arises because their video includes a comic-book style superheroes including a Mr. A, although the character is totally unlike Ditko's character. 03:02, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Given the limited coverage that this character has received from sources, the overall lack of appearances, and the fact that The Question is just a censor-accepted (and more well-known) version of Mr. A, shouldn't this page be merged with Question (character)? Oppose. The changes made to the character were non-trivial, as the original Mr. A was so far beyond code acceptability. Additionally, the Question has been reinterpreted constantly since his creation, while Mr. A remains as a historical artifact due to the fact that Ditko maintained control. 130.132.173.21 (talk) 21:32, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Oppose. Substantially different characters. Mr. A might be borderline in terms of encyclopedic significance, but given the significance of Ditko in the field, and the importance of the character to Ditko, I lean towards keeping them separate. --The Hanged Man (talk) 19:01, 14 December 2019 (UTC)
