Alternative presentation edit

There are other ways on Wikipedia to present a family tree; see template {{Familytree}} and Wikipedia:Family trees. I'm not saying they are better or more appropriate than the current method of an indented list, I'm just pointing out other methods.

Also, the Category:Family trees should probably be added to the page. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 04:53, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Personally I find the indented list more flexible, particularly for adding detail for individuals in the family. It makes the article more of a family page, hence the inclusion in family categories rather than the family tree category.Cjc13 (talk) 14:21, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
You're right, it is more flexible and probably easier to edit. On the other side, once completed, there aren't many changes to be expected. I have no preference either way, I just wanted to point out other ways of presenting this, in case you didn't know. All the best, Michael Bednarek (talk) 14:43, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
