lorem ipsum I personally know a stuntman/fight choreographer in Hollywood who's friends with most of the guys who're featured in the MK:Rebirth and am in contact with a couple of them. Object404 (talk) 07:03, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pretty much the definition of Original Research. Unless we have an external source to confirm something it can't be used on Wikipedia. Planewalker Dave (talk) 07:38, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
James Lew is Shang Tsung. Please stop reverting this.Object404 (talk) 10:08, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hey. I've asked Richard Dorton and he's confirmed that James Lew is indeed Shang Tsung. It's not "original research", it's a first-hand source. How much more accurate can you get? Give credit to James Lew, man. The guy is a legend and has done a lot for the world of entertainment!Object404 (talk) 17:42, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually by Wikipedia's standards that is exactly original research, see WP:ORIGINAL. I did try and find and connection to Jame Lew on the internet with no avail, even the site you linked as his personal website is 2 years out of date. To help alleviate problems in the near future I am going to place a citation needed tag on it, this no guarantee no one else will remove it. Mcmatter (talk) 00:45, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
It's an Easter Egg thing and you can't find it anywhere else in the internet except with blog comments who were able to guess correctly. I asked through facebook. Richard's an awesomely nice guy and I was tickled pink to re-confirm. :) I'm not going to post private conversations, so you won't be able to cite this with links. Wikipedia rules says first-hand information is okay, as long as it's used properly. I mean c'mon, dude. You're trying to create an academic research article on Mortal Kombat? Can't you see how hilariously facepalm this conversation is? :) Cheers! -object404 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.50.221.68 (talk) 08:44, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Look I'm not saying the information is wrong, I wouldn't know, what I am saying is it doesn't meet the Wikipedia criteria. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a gossip site, which means all the information on here needs to be verifiable in a published source (magazine, book or reputable website). "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth—whether readers can check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source, not whether editors think it is true." taken from Wikipedia:Verifiability. Mcmatter (talk) 13:52, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Matt Mullins has confirmed as well. I am a reliable secondary source as defined by Wikipedia:No original research. I have now tweeted it. It is now defined as "published in an external source". It is now properly cited in keeping with Wikipedia's core backbone of Our policy: Wikipedia articles usually rely on material from secondary sources. All stringent Wikipedia criteria now met. Do you see how inane this system and your obstinance is? I offer neither offense nor insult, but you, good sir, are the very definition of a know-it-all internet nerd jackass. Feel free to write a scholarly academic research paper on Mortal Kombat which can be submitted to reputable scientific journals. Respectfully yours, Object404 (talk) 06:58, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
update: Found James Lew's tweet on Twitter confirming it, updated Shang Tsung citation link in article. Cheers! Object404 (talk) 08:31, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

A lot of info. just wanted to post it here before it's gone, and/or difficult to find. Alot of it is summarized between the raticles already posted but I wanted to add those for foresight. Those should work for development information. Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 00:22, 25 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
