Our article here refers to 1935 as the year that Brown described the AMNH 5464 L. cerorhynchos. I check the AMNH website to find a '1942 edition of AMNH Novitates that describes the type specimen (see Brown, B., Schlaikjer, E. 1942. The skeleton of Leptoceratops with the description of a new species. American Museum Novitates. 1169: 1-15.). Can someone clarify this?

The correct year is 1942. The mistake was probably caused by an incorrect reading of Dodson (1996) who refers in this context to the 1935 mounting of the skeleton.--MWAK (talk) 08:02, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is it cerorhynchos or cerorhynchus? I've seen both spellings rather frequently, so I'm not sure which is the real one. Miracusaurs (talk) 14:23, 27 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
