It's SET in Alaska, but the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is co-producing it with PBS. Likely because Canada is very pro-native, with channels like APTN and stuff. I'm surprised they haven't ported the show there yet, bound to happen eventually. Would make a good compliment to Wapos Bay reruns for realistic shows.
