What the heck is it? edit

I see some comparisions/advantages vs other imaging methods. I see some uses. But I see not a single piece of information about what it actually is. Really. What is the exact mode of imaging? What is happening at a level deeper than "place breast in machine, image comes out"? Hrm, that sounds more sarcastic than I mean, but as the article presently stands, there isn't enough detail to even evaluate whether the article meets basic standards for inclusion in Wikipedia.DMacks (talk) 01:17, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
