Are these numbers stepwise or cumulative?

Are these numbers stepwise or cumulative? By stepwise I mean 2nd value is going from 1st to 2nd. By cumulative 2nd value is going from 0 to 2nd. Project Osprey (talk) 08:42, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

these are stepwise, basically for going from E(g) → E^{2+} + 2e^-, where E is the element in question, it takes the first ionisation energy + the second ionisation energy Nolshru (talk) 16:01, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
