Why Zutshi? edit
Mohan Lal has almost always been referred to as "Mohan Lal". Sometimes, he was called "Mohan Lal Kashmiri". True that he was a Zutshi. To be precise, his gotar was Utra Bhag. But no one -- to my knowledge -- calls him Mohan Lal Zutshi.

As far as his publications are concerned, Mohan Lal used neither Kashmiri or Zuthsi as part of his name. However, Hari Ram Gupta's authoritative biography of Mohan Lal refers to him 'Kashmiri' in the title. But I have yet to come across Zutshi as part of his name.

I agree. In the absence of anyone disagreeing, I will change the article to refer to Mohan Lal, as this is what he is called in most sources.

I first learnt of Mohan Lal in John H. Waller's "Beyond the Khyber Pass" (1990), a telling of the disaster of the First Afghan War. From my recollection of that read I found Mr. Waller's assessment of Mohan Lal to be very generous.
