With a name such as their one, did they have anything to do with the
new romantic movement? I am not informed enough about pop music to know, but if they

Their 1980 first single "Modern Romance" had a similar sound to early Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran but subsequently Modern Romance changed their sound for later tracks.
