Copyright edit

The section on copyright seems awfully preachy, don't you think?

Example image needed edit

I second that, also, we need to get a better example. The one we currently have is bad. It isn't professional looking, lacks any example of the characters emotion, and is poorly drawn at best (No offense to "Daveko"). I think we should definitely get something like this bugs bunny ref sheet I doubt Warner Bros will yell at us for putting an example of a Bugs Bunny ref sheet on the site. It's from 1943 anyway. If they don't like it, I could always just draw one for the page. So long as it's a well known character. I doubt anyone visiting this page will know or care who "Heliodor" is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.207.17.66 (talk) 13:23, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree that this page needed a better example, but having one was better than having none. Using a professional one of a common character would be, I think, unwise from a copyright standpoint. Why not have some artist draw a modelsheet of that Wikipedia mascot character, the one with a puzzle piece in her hair? Bryce (talk) 14:28, 11 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Was there anything fundamentally wrong with File:Furry Character Sheet.jpg, or, could we use it as a temporary image until a better quality example can be found?
The WP mascot character is described at Wikipedia:Wikipe-tan. Feel free to prod any of the illustrators whose work is displayed there. :) -- Quiddity (talk) 21:45, 11 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Character Designer edit

"Character Designer" redirects to this article, but the term appears nowhere in the article. What is the relation between a model sheet and a character designer? My guess is that a character designer or model artist would typically supervise animators. Is that correct? Please answer in the article, of course.
