LaSallette in Attleboro

Before the 1970s, the main building at the shrine in Attleboro on Route 118 consisted of a large, handsome 4-story gothic building that served as a dormitory and meeting center. In the 1960s and 1970s, the order built a modern center down the hill from the original building. Somehow in doing so the LaSallettes became the victims of fraud and lost a lot of money. They started hosting a Labor Day weekend carnival, and began to market the shrine during the Christmas season by promoting the Christmas lights; many thousands of people attend each winter. In the late 1990s, a brother visiting from England fell asleep with a lit cigarette and the original buildling burned to the ground, leaving only the masonry shell; the building was unrecoverable. According to a link from topix.net that I couldnt' bring up on my screen, the La Sallettes are preparing to start construction on a big new addition. Breaking of your vows

I've been trying for months to have one of your priests answer for breaking the vow of the confessional. To this day nothing has happened.
