Date Formed Incorrect? edit
[edited for clarity] The infobox on the side of this article says the Ministry was created on 1948. The list of Ministers in the article doesn't go back before Malayan independence (August 31, 1957). My general impression from what I've read is that the Ministry was probably created some time between those two dates, but I don't have a good source handy. I suppose its possible that the Ministry was formed in 1948, but that would have been in name only if there was no Minister. For now I am just going to add a "citation needed" tag on the 1948 date, but hopefully we can clear up all these inconsistencies eventually. --Dowcet (talk) 18:20, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
Here is a source stating that the "Ministry of Rural Development" was created in 1959. It seems like the name changed frequently, but I think that is the real creation date of the ministry this article is about? Dowcet (talk) 19:24, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
