The existence of this combined disambiguation page implies two things - that every Mike Powell is necessarily a Michael Powell, and vice versa that is every Michael Powell is also a Mike Powell. The former seems likely, but the latter doesn't. I noticed this because looking for the long jumper seemed unnecessarily complicated. When I look at https://pageviews.toolforge.org/massviews/?platform=all-access&agent=user&source=wikilinks&range=latest-20&sort=views&direction=1&view=list&target=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Powell_(disambiguation) it's pretty clear that the best known Mike among them by far is indeed the long jumper.
