Knuckles edit

I don't understand why this line is continually flagged as vandalism?

Through numerous contacts in Channel 10, and also personal experiences with the man and and people who have met him, I have verified this fact.

No malice is intended whatsoever. It's like quoting how Robin Williams is notorious for being hairy. Or another example, Tom Selleck being known for his bushy mustache and hairy chest.

I assumed it was vandalism because it looked like it was put in there as a joke, and I couldn't find any mention of it on any search engine, apart from this page and another page that mirrors it. I mean, he could hardly be notorious for it if nobody in the public seems to know about it. But if you didn't mean any malice then I'm sorry for saying it was vandalism.
But you still have to leave the 'hairy knuckles' line out unless you can reference a real source (eg a newspaper article or something) that mentions this information, whether you have met him or not. This sort of thing happens on biographies all the time, just look at the box at the top of this talk page to understand why I removed the line. Easel3 06:45, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Meteorology edit

Does anyone know for sure that he actually is a meteorolgist? I ask because no degree is mentioned on the channel ten website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.108.40.229 (talk) 07:58, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'd also question the meteorologist line Andjb (talk) 10:40, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the line. No evidence has been produced that Larkan has meteorological qualifications. As mentioned above, it is implausible that the network would exclude such a detail from his profile on their website, given that having qualifications is relevant to his present position and would ostensibly establish Larkan's credibility. If any editor can produce evidence suggesting that he is in any way qualified, then the deleted statements can be reinstated. Cyril Washbrook (talk) 01:46, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
