Restored a reduced version of "Assessment" (21/1/2007)

edit

Readers new to Head and his music would expect some kind of an assessment which is balanced: particularly musicians interested in performing some of his works. The claim that the original is not expert opinion is flawed, as no infallible definition of "expert" exists in this context. I suggest that editors should replace text with justified alternatives rather than simply deleting the work of others. I am surprised that one editor removed the two major references to Head, one after the other in two different edits, as both are in the public domain. Anomalously, the associated referencing to these was left in the article.

Restored "His Music" (21/1/2007)

edit

The assertion that the original article was 'full of grammatical errors' is wrong. There was none. A resume of Head's music will be of interest to anyone who is likely to look this article up. This would include, among others, performers looking for music. The section entitled 'His Music' has thus been restored.

Clean up

edit

This article is full of grammatical errors and requires a lot of clean up. The section "Assessment" is opinion and does not even represent the opinion of an expert- just whoever wrote the article. --70.130.202.194 07:10, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The article appears to contain very extensive quotes from Chandos records website.--Smerus (talk) 15:52, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I think the Chandos page mentioned is based on the original Wiki article, which I would submit was published long before. Michael J. Mullany (talk) 10:11, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
In that case, my apologies!--Smerus (talk) 11:26, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
