Added unreferenced template april 2007. While I like Micah's work (I visited this article after buying a CD) the claims made on this page still need to be verified. Waitsian 03:05, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

False claims now removed and new article written and referenced. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 01:53, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

politics edit

it is unnecessary to continue to post assumptions of Hinson's political beliefs because they are false and are making it difficult for future endeavors because some people believe that wikipedia provides accurate information. however, the political information about Hinson is falsified. He is not a republican, he is not an Obama-hater, nor should he be represented as one. what agenda could you possibly have to continue posting lies?

Misscontrary (talk) 02:17, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I never added that to the article, but i did check the reference to validate it. The article should only contain factual and reliably sourced content. It was said, so live with it. Snoop God (talk) 06:14, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

NO, it was NOT SAID! in the article, the interviewer keeps saying Hinson IS a Republican, though in the article, Hinson clearly states that He IS NOT; so go back and read it properly, it's all there. YOU are wrong. SO YOU LIVE WITH IT. also, the article was NOT factual, as their is false information in the article, example: the above republican comments. so NO, it isn't reliable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.26.160.156 (talk) 15:30, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article you are referencing is not being quoted accurately because Micah states very clearly in the same article, "I ain't no fucking dirty Republican. And I ain't no fucking Democrat. I ain't anything". He also states, "I know Obama was handed a shit sandwich, so was Bush, and so was Clinton, and so was Lincoln, and so was damned Washington". Hinson also never states that he is against nationalized healthcare, instead he states that America already has a healthcare system in place called Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, WIC, etc. You obviously did not validate your information and did not print factual or reliably sourced content. It was not said, it was assumed, therefore not factual or reliable. You appear to have a personal vendetta as opposed to a factual point. Misscontrary (talk) 17:19, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • You should not just write your thoughts, opinion and obvious bad feeling. You will be blocked if you continue to vandalise this page. Cheers, Joanna Ys (talk) 23:48, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am using facts that are stated and properly referenced to the article with regards to Micah P. Hinson. There are no opinions other than the ones I removed from the wikipedia page written by others that were unfounded. I am merely clarifying the injustice by stating direct quotes from the man himself, Mr. Micah P. Hinson. I think it only proper that his own words represent his response to assumptions with regards to his political views. I should not be blocked for vandalism when I have not vandalized anything and have spoken more proven truth about this topic than other contributors as evidenced by my ability to cite sources. The contributor whose words I erased were not properly cited and were written in an opinion format as Mr. Hinson never once states in the cited article or any other article that he is against nationalized healthcare and never made an anti-Obama statement other than the "murderer of the American dream" which is Mr. Hinson's own opinion in regards to what he apparently sees as the American dream based on the aforementioned article. Instead of coming down so hard on me and my cited sources, why don't we discuss the inappropriateness of the POV of the previous author of the anti-Obama statements? Cheers. Here's to direct quotes! Misscontrary (talk) 01:58, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

my silence, and simple watching of injustice with Mr. Micah Hinson must stop now: how is the last information, in quotes and with citing regarding his political stance, being erased? the way it is now is completely FALSE. Mr. Hinson DID NOT SAY THAT HE WAS AGAINST NATIONAL HEALTHCARE OR AN ANIT-OBAMA SUPPORTER! their is absolutely NO quotes or proof that these statements are true in ANY ARTICLE. the editor from yesterday clearly had everything down to proof and facts and somehow it was taken off and replaced AGAIN with this FALSE INFORMATION! if Mr. Hinson DID say these things: QUOTE HIM! if you DON'T have QUOTES; LEAVE IT ALONE! this is turning not to an encyclopedia, but a place where ignorant, uninformed people can go to have their opinions stated, and other people who wish to correct things get everything taken off and treated like fools, even when they have total and utter truth under their arms! YOU ARE SHAMEFUL, IGNORANT, AND LASTLY AND COMPLETELY: WRONG! you should be kicked off for vandalism! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.26.160.156 (talk) 16:58, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
