Term predates cruise lines edit

In The Three Caballeros (1944), Alcapulco is refered to being on the Riviera of Mexico. I should dig up a reference for this for this film...Stardude82 (talk) 02:20, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

A map please edit

A map would be helpful. Andrew8 01:49, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

In lieu of a map in the encyclopedia you may now follow the link(s) to "Map of all coordinates from website" at the bottom of the page and see the cities mapped out on another website. 69.126.127.193 (talk) 10:52, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not A Viable Riviera edit

Maybe drug gangs have the right idea. Strip the place in preparation to leave. If a major disaster strikes, everyone would be dead anyway, so they are just moving ahead of time, maybe they feel the impending disaster and do not care anymore. Any quake zone is NOT a riviera. In fact all nations worldwide need to identify storm or quake or volcanic areas and NOT BUILD in those places or call them rivieras to con people into buying property there. A real riviera would not be in a natural disaster prone area. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.82.42.8 (talk) 19:18, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
