Talk:Mercury (Bova novel)

Latest comment: 14 years ago by Paul Erik in topic "crown" quote

I have just finished reading the book Mercury by Ben Bova, and thought that I would take the time to summarize it on Wikipedia for the benefit of others. Every aspect of my summary is accurate, and I wish that it be preserved as a permanent article.

Hi Fwigglemuck. I removed the "speedy delete" tag, but there is still a possibility that it could be deleted. It would be worth reviewing Wikipedia:Notability (books), which has some specifics about what would be needed for an article about a book to remain permanently. Cheers, --Paul Erik 05:24, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hello Fwigglemuck, my apologies for the speedy tag. I realized that it was placed there in error. The article appeared at first to be a candidate for db-bio. Postoak 05:30, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

"crown" quote edit

In the "Reception" section: "[...] a guaranteed crown-pleaser." There appears to be a typo (crowd). I don't have access to the source, so I can't tell whether it happened in the original or when quoting. 201.231.173.108 (talk) 01:46, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I fixed that; the typo seems to have occurred while transcribing, not in the original. Thanks for bringing it to attention. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:07, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
