Shape edit
Is there any direct experimental evidence at all that the molecule is planar and not tetrahedral? The cited review of Wang et al states there is no structural data for HgF4. 76.212.128.2 (talk) 05:27, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Oxidant edit
Since HgF4 is highly unstable - even more unstable than the strongest known oxidant KrF2 - is it possible that it is an even stronger oxidant? Or is it just unstable due to entropic reasons? --79.243.250.21 (talk) 20:04, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
