The Swiss merchant navy was founded in 1941, with the purpose of supplying Switzerland with basic goods during the Second World War. As of 2016, its mission is essentially the same.

Since there is no organization by this name, this article should be "Merchant marine of Switzerland". I will change it, unless there is discussion explaining why it is correct, as it stands. HopsonRoad (talk) 14:51, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
