Talk:Mehmed Kapetanović

The dates are wrong edit

Mehmed Kapetanović was actually born 19 December 1839, not 19 July 1839, according to a 1997 reprint of his book "Narodno blago". His date of death in that same book is listed as 28 July 1902, not 29 July 1902. Besides, there is only one source on this wiki and it does not even mention any specific dates. It only says he was born in 1839 and died 1902. --B1189199429080823K (talk) 01:15, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I certainly appreciate your wanting to make sure the information is accurate. If what you say is really the case, then by all means make the change. However, pleace cite a verifiable, reliable source in the article when you make the change. If it is clearly and properly cited, it will be much more likely to not get reverted. Without a citation, it appears to be vandalism, and will most likely continue to be reverted. See WP:REFB and WP:CS for the details on how to cite the book you mentioned.-Josh3580talk/hist 01:25, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
