Rename! edit

Since Medusa has *officially* been renamed "Bizarro" (http://www.gadv.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16207&hl=), this will need some major work done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.75.157.171 (talk) 02:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Move? edit

Should this article be renamed "Medusa (Six Flags Great Adventure)"?

Sponsorship edit

Medusa was sponsored by Heinz starting in the 2007 season. The employees were given a choice of flair that they were required to wear: either a hat that bore the Heinz logo, or a pin that read "Shakin' it up!" In the 2008 season, additional signs were added to the ride queue to further highlighter the corporate allegiance. However, the employees were no longer given Heinz hats or pins--some employees from the 2007 season still have their hats, though, and are permitted to wear them.24.228.50.83 (talk) 05:25, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

View edit

If you're going to talk about the views on Medusa, is it worth mentioning that as you go up the lift hill, you can see parts of the Safari? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.221.127.16 (talk) 01:43, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

New photo needed edit

With Bizarro's new theming and coloring, the current picture of the cobra roll needs to be replaced. Halofan333 (talk) 23:04, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am starting a Good Article review of this article. North8000 (talk) 20:40, 24 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Review discussion edit

The article says that it was the world's first floorless roller coaster. The source for that claim just says that it was the first floorless one made by that particular manufacturer. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 20:30, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Added a new source to support this. Existing source has been left to support the opening date. Themeparkgc  Talk  05:14, 30
Resolved. Close enough. North8000 (talk) 11:57, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The statement "the speakers seldom worked." seems a bit uneclyclopedic and is unsourced. North8000 (talk) 20:34, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I had a look around but couldn't find anything reliable to support it. I have removed the statement. Themeparkgc  Talk  22:52, 30 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Cool. Resolved. North8000 (talk) 00:26, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

The "on-ride photo" text is confusing in a few ways. First, if it is referring to a particular image in the article, I think it should be clearer (possibly in the caption). Second, the "on ride photo" internal link go to an article that describes it as a stationary camera that takes pictures of the riders; noe of the images in the article seems to be that. Could you clarify? North8000 (talk) 00:45, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've relocated that information and reworded it to hopefully clarify and remove any confusion. The wording was referring to the location of the camera on the ride, not any picture in the article. Is the change sufficient? Themeparkgc  Talk  07:46, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Looks good. Resolved. North8000 (talk) 10:08, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

GA criteria final checklist edit

Well-written

  • Meets this criteria. North8000 (talk) 13:19, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Factually accurate and verifiable

  • Meets this criteria. Dialing in for the types of coverage expected for subjects such as this. North8000 (talk) 13:19, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Broad in its coverage

  • Meets this criteria. Could still benefit from future expansion. Article is short, and it would seem like there are are additional areas to cover in the future in an expansion, but I can't think of any areas not covered that would constitute a shortcoming.

Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without bias, giving due weight to each

  • Meets this criteria. North8000 (talk) 18:22, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute

  • Meets this criteria. North8000 (talk) 15:23, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Illustrated, if possible, by images

  • Meets this criteria. Has three (free) images, plus a non-free logo image which has an article-specific use-rationale. North8000 (talk) 15:22, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
