Far too much intricate processor information - vote to dramatically cull the promotional info
Beyond the fact that virtually no independent person is likely to review these specifications, is this the right place for the company to keep their product specifications? Isn't it a bit of a stretch to make Wikipedia a virtual data sheet repository? I can't tell if a single one of the chips has any third party coverage - most if not all of the sources are company announcements, or cut and pastes of press releases on non-notable PR aggregator sites. I look at articles for other chip companies like Qualcomm and Broadcom and they display zero chip specifications. Any objections to removing all the chip specs to tame this unwieldy beast?Timtempleton (talk) 19:03, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
- Qualcomm recently moved the chip specifications to a seperate page (following what was done for Intel, AMD, NVidia, etc.). It is likely that this page will eventually go down the same path, once someone has enough free time to do the move. Charwinger21 (talk) 20:46, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- It would may be nice to have an universal template for the tables in the SoC's pages, not sure which one are better
