Officiated Kamala Harris' wedding edit

The article on Doug Emhoff states that Maya Harris officiated the wedding of her sister and Doug Emhoff. How and when did she obtain this power? Has she been ordained? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:1de0:8fb0:48ce:823:ddc6:3a30 (talkcontribs) 02:33, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

If what you are saying is true, it was very likely because she is a lawyer and they had a civil wedding. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 18:30, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Can an admin please look at edit

‎Breecoribrowkerwakoo (talk · contribs) edits? They seem to be a new SPA. The have changed the longstanding versions of the pages of Kamala Harris's close relatives: her mother Shyamala Gopalan, father P. V. Gopalan, and sister Maya Harris. They seem to be conflating British Raj and British India and they are also adding ethnicity insistently. I don't know what else to do with them.
