Broken page edit

This page is broken. Along with many other pages, Wikipedia has started serving the mobile version of the page to high resolution tablets. The version of the page is barely usable on devices with screens larger than feature phones and other low resolution mobiles. It appears that tha Wikipedia coders no longer include staff with good experience of web design and user experience design. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.215.120 (talk) 14:13, 1 August 2014 (UTC) Reply

Then click on the desktop option at the bottom, but please don't vandalise the article to make your point. Richerman (talk) 15:41, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
'Then click on the desktop option at the bottom' would seem to be an irresponsible answer, equivalent to, 'I don't care. I'm not going to help fix it. Users can just keep working their way around it.' it misses the point that this is a recent and growing problem. Some pages started breaking like this round about June 2014 and there is a growing number. I have not been able to spot any pattern.
Surely, as a responsible editor, you would wish to report this via your internal channels and see it resolved rather than telling users to click a link (right down at the bottom of a page, which could be along way and inconvenient to find on a tablet device)?
I have increasingly thought that I didn't have time to waste on such inappropriately formatted pages and have moved away to other open tabs rather than handle the user interface problems of Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.215.120 (talk) 03:44, 2 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
If you are having problems you should report them at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical). Try being a little less insulting to the volunteers who contribute their time here and you may find you get some help. Richerman (talk) 22:40, 2 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
