Perhaps somebody could add some more sections/ material, so this poor guy's page has some other content than the domestic incident? I'll ask somebody else to do this, since I'm not a follower of sports broadcasting or Martin, & not particularly informed in this area. Thanks. Twhitmore.nz (talk) 01:19, 24 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

So when are we allowed to mention his arrest on 29 December? I don't understand how this works... Since when does New Zealand law have jurisdiction in the US?? I mean there's no link to the fact he went to St Patrick's College, but that's been left there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.218.222.248 (talk) 04:14, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Controversial material must be reliably sourced. His alma mater could be challenged for being unsourced, but that's relatively benign. However, there are some categories of assertions that are negative enough that they must be sourced—arrests, breakups, assault incidents, marital indiscretions, or anything else negative (or potentially defamatory). Unless you can point to a reliable source that backs up your assertion that he was arrested, it can't go in the article. If New Zealand's gag order has kept it out of all reliable newspapers and the like, then no, it can't go in the article. —C.Fred (talk) 04:19, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
