Needs stuff on residency requirement to get married - you can't get married here on holiday unless you've been here for so many days prior to giving notice. Abolition of special licenses. Also civil partnerships have the same benefits rules as marriages - the famous "by partner we mean person you are married to or live with as though you are married to" bit of social security forms now includes civil partnerships. Are the Churches of England and Wales legally required to marry divorcees?edit

The article currently states Priests of the Church of England and the Church in Wales are legally required to marry people, providing one of them is from the local parish, regardless of whether the couple are practising. However, this requirement does not appear to extend to divorced people (see this Church of England web page: http://www.yourchurchwedding.org/youre-welcome/marriage-after-divorce.aspx).
