in fact it is not a settlement at all, now - just an area in which the Marley Floors are - see map here [1] occupying former manorial land. The map at that reference will show that it lies between Lenham and Harrietsham, exactly as shown on the OS map. There are at least two other places named Marley in Kent: Marley, Deal and Marley, Barham, Kent (the latter has no article yet).
