Marie Burke: wrong picture edit

Marie Burke was my grandmother. The picture claiming to be of her (with Jean Hart) on her Wikipedia page is not Marie but someone else. I have plenty of pictures of her & my mother Patricia from our family albums & would love to share them but I have no proof of copyright, & some were definitely taken by professional photographers ...but this would have been in the first half of the 20th century. Can you help me share them? Carolwellwood (talk) 20:57, 26 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi, Carolwellwood--the image comes from here, which seems to be a pretty serious outfit. All (almost all) our images are on Commons, at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page , where you can upload your images. The copyright matter might be tricky, but the folks on Commons can help you with that. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 21:00, 26 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I remember my grandmother well. I was 38 when she died, & I spent plenty of time with her, so I am absolutely certain that she isn't in that picture. I have plenty of pictures of her, including some labelled ones from programmes. I shall contact the Help on Commons to see if I can upload any photos of her. Thank you for your help.
