This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it provides information about Margaret Livingstone, author of "Vision and Art: The Biology of Seeing," a world renowned neurobiologist and invited speaker for numerous academic and private organizations.

Sorry, but you did a very poor job. It read like a recommendation letter rather than an objective report. Just because she's female doesn't mean she has a glowing reputation. The controversy surrounding her animal experiments, which many prominent scientists have criticized as "torture", is an important facet to understanding and analyzing her life.
