Legal status? edit
It says "On 3 February 2021 she appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court. No plea or declaration was made and she was given bail." That was 4 months ago. Has nothing happened since then?
https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/in-your-area/lanarkshire/disgraced-mp-margaret-ferrier-delivers-24347575 says "In January, Ferrier was arrested and charged with culpable and reckless conduct for allegedly breaking coronavirus regulations after she voluntarily attended Coatbridge Police Station." That was 5 months ago. Do charges normally take over 5 months to process and try?

- While I think the initial court hearing to enter a plea or declaration can happen quite quickly after being charged, I'm pretty sure it can take quite a few months for a trial date to be set. Doesn't help that the courts were backlogged before covid so it could take a while. Suonii180 (talk) 07:20, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
- There are still no updates I can find on Google News. The COVID backlog is making fairly standard court cases take very long, with delays I'd usually only seen in mainland Europe cases. Unknown Temptation (talk) 19:37, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
