Talk:Manicasothy Saravanamuttu

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

The Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium is possibly named after P. Sara, who was Manicasothy's brother. Manicasothy mentions in his memoirs that P. Sara turned to politics and contested two elections to the Ceylon Parliament unsuccessfully, and then died at the age of 58. Penang Pioneer 60.50.38.177 (talk) 16:48, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Manicasothy Saravanamuttu is a good example of transnational personality, a Sri Lankan personality who contributed to Malayan society and politics. I suggest that you leave the article for a while and let others add to it and not make a hasty decision. Penang pioneer Penang pioneer (talk) 01:48, 10 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
