The section on Primitvo edit

This section is too long, most of it is unnecessary, and some of it is inaccurate. The ampelography lesson on the grape is redundant and a link to the Primitivo/Zinfandel article would suffice to go over the DNA history of the Croatian grape. This article about a comune only needs any specifics about the Primitivo from this locality that make it distinct from any other Primitivo grown elsewhere in Apulia. Moreover, the assertion that Primitivo is little known outside of Apulia isn't really true in 2022, it wasn't even really true in 2004 when I first learned of Primitivo (in the US, incidentally), and you can buy Primitivo from Apulia in any Trader Joe's grocery store in the US for example.

Moreover, the assertion that Gioia del Colle DOC wine is not 100% Primitivo appears to be untrue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Derrgill (talkcontribs) 04:23, 27 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
