Data sources needed edit

Some of the data in the Tables doesn't look right to me. Could a source be provided for each Table please, which includes exactly where the info has come from, down to page number of the sourced report. Thanks. Johnfos (talk) 23:21, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Criticism of mret edit

There should be mention of the market distorting effects of mandatory renewable energy targets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.95.87.33 (talk) 08:18, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cost of energy edit

The article claims that:

"As the cost of renewable energy has become cheaper than other sources, meeting and exceeding a renewable energy target will also reduce the cost of electricity to consumers."

This is incorrect. Power prices INCREASE as more renewables are added to energy grids. The intermittent nature of the "cheap" energy disrupts the market, leading to greater overall cost for consumers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.69.83.186 (talk) 07:37, 26 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
