Map incorrect edit

The map is grossly incorrect. Nepal was not under Mamluk dynasty ever, neither under Sultanet of Delhi. See History of Nepal for further details.--Eukesh (talk) 07:24, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Role in protection of Islam edit

It is notable that the Mamluk Sultanate in India played an active role in the protection and preservation of Islam as the whole of the middle east was overrun by the Mongols.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.29.197.13 (talk) 03:24, 21 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

This needs some heavy tone checking edit

I'm not an editor so I don't know exactly what to say here, but this definitely needs a warning banner about how it might not have an appropriately encyclopedic tone (and maybe some other warning banners). Talking about Turks being brutish and calling the dynasty the "Slave dynasty" doesn't seem to be handled appropriately. 173.29.22.129 (talk) 02:23, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Missing wikilink edit

This article is missing a wikilink to Indian campaigns of Muhammad of Ghor, which has important background information directly relevant to this article, as the actions taken by Mohammad of Ghor are foundational to the creation of this dynasty. If it is not immediately obvious where to put it in the text, it could start as a "See also" section entry. --174.17.171.14 (talk) 05:00, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Semi-done, put in See Also section. Cheers! Cocobb8 (💬 talk to me! • ✏️ my contributions) 17:13, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
