Lenses for Polaroid Pack Film edit

While the Mamiya Universal press is nearly the same camera as the Polaroid 600SE, the lens mounts, film back mounts, and lenses are slightly different. While the Polaroid 600SE and lenses were primarily designed to shoot Polaroid type 100 pack film (or Fuji FP-100C) with a larger image size (3¼ × 4¼" (85 × 108 mm) and Mamiya Universal Press designed to shoot 6x9 (60 x 90 cm) medium format film, some of the lenses for the Mamiya Universal Press were only designed to cover the image circle of 6x9 film and will leave dark corner vignettes on Polaroid or Fuji Instant pack film. http://photo.net/medium-format-photography-forum/00R7xq

The Mamiya Universal Press 127mm and 75mm lenses offered greater coverage necessary for the 2 7/8 x 3 3/4 inch images produced by the Polaroid backs. - http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Mamiya_Press#Lens_System — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.34.47.98 (talk) 15:19, 14 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
