Or how can we use this term before its already confusing meaning has been given later in the article?!

I found this in Category:Wikify from September 2006. Well... I can see why it's remained there for so long! I've added some paragraphs in what I hope are appropriate places, and corrected some typos. My head hurts now, too. It makes me wonder if we can have too much information in a WP article? --Smalljim 13:58, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I did a quick wikification job on it and removed the tag. Clean-up tag remains. The article is FAR too long. It should just give an introduction to his work, how he relates to other philosophers, to what makes him important and different. If people want more they will have to read the books. From the article as it stands I get that he is a very innovative and important thinker, a bridge between Islamic and Western philosophy, but I don't get any more because there is just too much to plough through. This page is about a well-known Iranian philosopher. I believe it is being suggested for deletion because charges of plagiarism have been raised against him and published elsewhere on the internet. Khatami's official website is down and his "fan blog" is down. For Wikipedia to delete his page would be for them to be complicit in the cover-up of alleged academic fraud.
