Limiting potential customers edit

It seems odd that the only platform outside PCs and Macs is going to be the X-box 360. I would like to think that they would have enough sense to release this on PS3 and Wii as well. X-box 360 is only the 4th best selling console behind the DS, Wii, and DSi. As for the PCs and Macs I have a funny feeling they are going to require the latest graphic cards and system requirements that many computers just don't have yet unless you're a tech junkie. Bugs? edit

I've noticed this game has an unusually high number of bugs, perhaps to be expected given the open-ended nature of the game's rules and the various ways in which cards can interact with each other. Still, it is worth mentioning that there are a few obvious bugs that really should have been caught in testing. (Furnace of wrath disabling all damage-trigger effects on creatures, anyone?) I haven't yet found a reliable source to cite, however. All I've found are a few forum posts. If anyone knows of a site documenting the known issues, I think it's notable enough to be added to the article.STLocutus (talk) 20:08, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

article needs to write about the DECK EDITOR, and lack of features edit

It should have a section on the deck editor. and it should point out that its a weak deck editor, that only lets you add or remove cards that you have UNLOCKED. And it should point out that you dont even have the required ability to ADD or REMOVE lands from the decks! WOW! thats pathetic that they overlooked letting you add or remove lands from your decks. ALso it has no way to make you own custom deck, you can only modify decks preprogrammed into the game and only with cards that you have unlocked. THIS IS EXTREME and SEVERELY bad. This is probably the main reason that most people still play magic online via mtgo on computer, and not on xbox live!

Also I dont think the article talks about the limited number of cards that are available. Of course, the wonderful side is that at least all the cards in THIS game are free, as they SHOULD be (no need to buy digital objects, which to me is an assanine concept to begin with.)

also it doesnt write much about the computer AI. THe computer AI is not really BUGGY, its just underdevloped, and thus kind of dumb. Even on the hardest/highest level, the AI will still often make complete bonehead plays.It will never make an illegal play, which would be a bug, it just makes pointless or counterproductive plays sometimes. I dont think they can be called bugs, its just a lack of sophisication in the programming. But out of all the AI's to even of been created to play this card game, the one in this game is still the very best to date. The old shandalar version had a worse AI than this. This is probably the hardest game in the entire world to teach a computer how to play well. Its hard to teach it how to use each of the very different cards together well. This follows from what an IP editor is trying to add (the deficiencies and misrepresentation of features in the Steam version): We cannot write about the differences between as-advertized and the real thing without sources and the sources must come from reliable sources. Forum posts are not acceptable here, given that this is a rather negative biased view of it. If there are reviews of the Steam version on sites like IGN or Gamespot that outline these, we can use those to include them, but short of that, we cannot create original research on this aspect. --MASEM (t) 23:31, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Guidance on correcting the credits edit

Hi, new to editing wikipedia and wanted guidance on correcting the game's credits. The Duels software was developed by Stainless but the game design was done by Wizards. Patrick & Alan were the lead software developers and Will was the brilliant visual designer. However the game design team at Wizards was Matt Place, Michael Mikaelian and Jay Schneider.

I'm the aforementioned Jay Schneider and was the Design/Game Producer of the Original Duels of the Planeswalkers & the first 3 expansions. I'd like to see the Wizards design team listed as well as the Stainless team.
