Queued For Deletion By B.U.T.F.U.Q

Write anything you have to say about this here. From what I am getting, B.U.T.F.U.Q seems to be going after Podshow-related stuff, and I would advise the B.U.T.F.U.Q. folks to listen to Madge's shows over the past few months and get that she's not as friendly to her employers as one would believe, and has emerged as one of Podshow's and the current podosphere's fiercest interal critics.

Furthermore, Madge Weinstein and her creator Richard Bluestein has provided significant contirubtions to the vlogging and gay podcasting community that are wholy separate from her activities on Yeast Radio. Also, the character has been part of underground films and public pefromances that preceded Madge Weinstein's blog and podcast. I'm sure Madge/Richard would be happy to discuss this with you. And to answer the criteria listed by B.U.T.F.U.Q.

The criteria for marking a BLOG-related article to be deleted:

  1. Is it an article about a blog? -- NO. 
  2. Is the article title the blog title? -- NO. 
  3. Is the blog first hit on google when searching for the said blog title? -- The first hit using the terms "Madge Weinstein" is the homepage for Yeast Radio. 
  4. Can most of the "about" info be gathered from clicking "about" link on the blog? -- NO. 
  5. Is the rest of the shit inane garbage blatantly promoting the said blog?  -- Not really, but I'm sure we can make some edits if there is dissatisfacion.

• I don't quite understand what this B.U.T.F.U.Q. project is, but to delete this page would be ridiculous. Madge isn't even just a blogger or podcaster but a performance artist in Chicago with a major cult following. Not only did Richard create some of the earliest videoblogs six years before YouTube even existed and arguably popularized that format, Madge has created several communities to promote and support LGBT visibility. I don't mind that he's clearing a couple of boring vanity pages about dull bloggers off the site, but Madge and her show shouldn't be put in that category at all. -- Pinchofhope 4 December 2006 (UTC)22:57

If you're going to use the argument that "Weinstein ISN'T really a man. Richard Bluestein may be, but his character is not." then you need to seriously edit the article. Weinstein as a fictional character doesn't manage anything. Weinstein is a fictional character, and the biography insinuates that Weinstein is a real person. Kythri 00:56, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Madge Didn't Die

On Eat this Hot Show #38 Richard Bluestein stated that Madge did not die. It has also been hinted that Madge will one day return. Mike E Fresh 03:25, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
