4/10/07: Major cleanup of the article.

8-9-2010 I flushed out the article with information about the student body from the Madeira website and added some of the interesting general school history from the school site as well as a few cited news articles. I hopefully made the land issue less one sided. I also thought the cheers were a nice touch. Elizabethbellb (talk) 02:36, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

I went through and cleaned up citations. Does anyone have any suggestions for changes needed to get the advertisement tag removed? Game Ender (talk) 15:31, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Famous alumnae?

Who are most of those people? Someone should at least put a little blurb about each one - stage actor, writer, whatever. As of now, it seems that lots of them are not really notable. --Awiseman 19:20, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I'm going to take them out unless someone can put something after them saying with they're notable, like Jane Q. Public (author of "Such and Such"). The last person added, Natalie Stockwood, has zero google hits. I added the reasons for the people with Wikipedia articles. --Awiseman 22:35, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

This page was marked "Advert" in 2007 or 8. Reading it now, it is no more so than any other private school, private college, or for that matter private company page. While I understand some people have personal views about private schools, this page is not outside the norm and is not overly promotional. It's time to move on. Removing Head of school and Saint Gertrude

That isn't a problem. However adding statistical info sourced only to the school is. If there are not independent sources for it it has no business here. Also, sign your postings to talk pages by typing 4 tildes. Thank you. - John from Idegon (talk) 02:18, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
