Misunderstanding in summary edit
"1980s in an alternative history timeline in which... and the Internet... already exist[s]."
They're is nothing alternative shoe the internet ashtray existing in the 1980s. It did.
The writer is possibly confused about the internet (an infrastructure defined by a set of protocols) and the World Wide Web (one particular use of the internet).
Such a common misunderstanding, although especially disappointing on a web site with aspirations to be a real encyclopaedia. 109.149.219.203 (talk) 11:40, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
