Map edit

Shouldn't the lighthouse map be Maine, because the map used puts it nearly off the map. —JJBers 21:36, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

There should be a map in this article with the claimed areas. It is in the interest of the reader.--Zzalpha (talk) 06:27, 15 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Citizenship edit

The lead says, "Since both Canada and the United States claim sovereignty, anyone born there can claim dual citizenship." The claim is dubious and is from an opinion piece hence not a reliable source. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to rely on the claim and will remove it. I could not find any reliable sources on the matter, which would be necessary to put back in.

Canadian law only provides birthright citizenship to the children of citizens or permanent residents. While U.S. law provides citizenship to children born in the country, they must also be completely subject to U.S. jurisdiction at birth.
