New Maadi edit

Ancient town of same name edit
The article says "Maadi retains the ancient name of the town that once stood on much the same site as today's district, and which has now turned out to be a significant Predynastic archaeological site. However, building activity in the area has destroyed some archaeologically sensitive places." It seems odd, if the site is of such significance, that this is all that is said about premodern Maadi. I would anticipate either a significant section, or a separate article with a link to it here. --Haruo (talk) 04:45, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
