how did this get to be a macintosh project ? edit

In the late 1970s' the peak number of users was around 300. Not bad for one Cyber-73.

MECC hosted one of the earliest versions of Forums, called "Forum". Most of the discussion was the usual rubbish, but that's not the point.

MECC also hosted one of the earliest electronic monthly magazines, called Vomit. The content was mostly nonsense, but that's not the point. A.times.B,equals (talk) 17:49, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just looked at the MERRITSS page, and found it blank. A number of things did flow from MERITSS to MECC, however, one of which was M. Huck's XEDIT, which allowed upper/lower case formatting even if one was typing on an KSR-28, and printing elsewhere.

Hmm I can't find any information about any of those claims although they sound plausible and relevant. --Banime (talk) 21:40, 26 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Introduction edit

I edite the introduction a little to show more clearly why MECC is notable (the widespread use of its software throughout the US), let me know if I should clean it up any more or change it. --Banime (talk) 21:40, 26 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

wrong or more wrong edit

Pretty sure the computing facilities article is rubbish, at least once we moved from Univac to Control Data. Dugong.is.good.tucker (talk) 19:33, 5 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

venture capitalist edit

Who was the venture capitalist who purchased and re-sold MECC? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.220.112.100 (talk) 22:27, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

New Game, and help request edit

I just added a new game, Zoyon patrol. I wrote the game page, and based it on the page for Odell Lake. But as this is the first time I have written such a type of page, I would appreciate help. I to get some seasoned veteran's at this to take a look at it, and tell me what to improve. I linked the game to my user page so I have a place to edit the draft, although I do plan on adding it to the greater wikipedia community when I am satisfied with the draft. Thanks TeigeRyan (talk) 05:50, 3 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Update: The page has now been added to Wikipedia. I do still have the user age where i can continue to make edits while I make the page stronger, as it is a work in progress.TeigeRyan (talk) 00:44, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
