Naming

His stage name is just Ride, not MC Ride. Someone with time please fix this.

What is this persons WP:COMMONNAME and are there references that support what it is? There seems to be some contention in the article edits about what name he is best known by and that should be the name of this article. There seems to be three options: "MC Ride" (the current title); Just "Ride" which would need the article title to be "Ride (Rapper)" to be distinct from other Ride articles; or "Stefan Burnett" which is currently a redirect to this article and is his real name. • Burnett is listed as MC Ride on Fyre's bandcamp page which is official, there seems to be a confusion to whether it's Ride or MC Ride, as far as I know, this is the only official source that exists and it lists him as MC Ride. 37.123.162.236 (talk) 01:10, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

@Slashme, Mick Ride, Serols, IdreamofJeanie, and Geraldo Perez: I have no opinion on the article name. The article needs to be properly moved not WP:CUTPASTE "moved". Mick Ride was cut/pasting it to Ride (entertainer). I explained this on Mick Ride's talk page including how to request a move. Ride (rapper) would be easier as the page does not exist and an administrator is not needed. There are about 20 articles and redirects that would need fixing. I have checked several sources and they all use "MC Ride". Allmusic and their Facebook page use Stefan Burnett. The official website is https://www.StefanBurnett.com. It uses "Stefan Burnett" no "Ride", only has images of acrylic on canvas paintings, an email link, and a link to an art show http://www.slowculture.com/ which has him as Stefan Burnett. Due to our policies regarding living people, we would expect this to be widely published by reliable sources, and a reference for the date to at least one such reliable source before we could include such information. stwalkerster (talk) 18:33, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
