the m 56 never had a perminantly fixed folding bayonet . .it had a folding stock . .a bayonet lug is ready to exept the separate bayonet .

There is a discrepancy. The guns.ru source cites the M56 is chambered in 9x19mm, but the article itself says it is chambered in 7.62 Tok. Mistake? 31.36.146.49 (talk) 14:27, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

The guns.ru website is not very accurate in my experience, the cartridge in the Wikipedia article is definitely correct as every other source I found says it's chambered for 7,62 Tokarev. M11rtinb (talk) 16:44, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
