Trivia edit

  • Removed this block -
The army blockade in the film 28 Days Later was filmed at the eastern end of the motorway. The signpost for Fleetwood and Blackpool is visible in the background and the main character actually climbs on top of it at one point. The sign in question is different in the film to the one that is in situ, so it may be likely the sign used was on a set with the rest filmed on location.

as it isn't factually accurate - the scene was shot on a piece of private road with road signs used to suggest the location & set the scene. This is evident if compare the location in the film and the relevat location on the motorway. --RedHillian 00:54, 8 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Junction 2 edit

Weren't there plans for a motorway (M59?) linking the vacant M55 Junction 2 with the vacant M58 Junction 2? I could be wrong, but just wondering.
