GA review (see here for criteria)

This is a nice piece of work, but I am placing it on hold so that you can address a few concerns.

Please resolve the link to Vernon Township, Michigan.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
"between Owosso and M-21 to Interstate 69 (I-69)" should be " between M-21 in Owosso and Interstate 69 (I-69)"
please rephrase: "Two adjacent highways have been rerouted which [affected] the locations of M-71's termini."
please rephrase: "M-71 was formed around by July 1, 1919"
please rephrase: "This construction also completed paving on M-71." (Do you mean "This construction paved the last remaining unpaved segment of M-71."?)
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
    Any planned construction pending?
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Good work. I am putting the article on hold so you can address the above concerns. Racepacket (talk) 00:56, 14 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Link resolved. (If you add a |ctdab= parameter to the templates that generate the junction lists with the name of the county, it will dab the link.) As for your four rephrasings, all are done except the third. That sentence is correct. We have no reliable sources, at this time, for when each highway received its markers, but they were all signed by July 1, 1919 as indicated by the map used as a source. Thus the sentence as written, is correct, and I will not change it. Imzadi 1979  01:13, 14 December 2010 (UTC) (P.S. It's not necessary to post the template on regular nominator's talk pages. We usually have the nomination page watchlisted. In fact, if you click the link "to create the review page", you can watchlist that page without creating it, which is what I do.)Reply
  • You solved the "around by" problem. So all concerns addressed. Congratulations. Racepacket (talk) 03:11, 14 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
